The Graypants Allyn Pendant is part of the Scraplights collection, where recycled materials are transformed into sculptural lighting. Handcrafted from natural recycled cardboard, the pendant brings warmth and texture to interiors while maintaining the layered aesthetic that defines the series. When illuminated, the material softly diffuses the light, creating a calm and intimate glow.

Each shade is precision cut using a laser, revealing the corrugated structure of the cardboard and producing the distinctive darkened edges that characterise Scraplights. Every piece is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant to ensure durability and safety while preserving the natural character of the material.

The Allyn design takes inspiration from the natural environment surrounding the Graypants studio in Seattle. Its organic form is influenced by pebbles gathered along nearby beaches, translating these simple natural shapes into a refined sculptural pendant. The result is a lighting piece that feels tactile, contemporary, and connected to the landscape that inspired it.
