A statement Konya vessel from central Turkey, standing just shy of 24 inches tall. Pieces of this scale were traditionally used throughout rural homes for storing olive oil, grains, or water. 

The form is classic to the region: a generous, grounded body in warm beige terracotta, rising to a beautifully worn green glazed mouth. Decades of use have softened the surface and created a patina that simply cannot be replicated by modern production.

At nearly two feet tall, this is a true floor vessel. Stunning styled on its own, filled with tall branches, or placed beside a console, hearth or sofa.
