A new world of Alex Sommers, known for his collaborations with Sigur Rós and Yoncey, opens its doors - a new world. Reflecting elements of film music, ambient, post-classical, post-rock, and electronica, while beautifully contrasting opposing elements such as grandeur and austerity, bold strokes and delicate details, and maximalism and minimalism, the work is avant-garde, yet somehow nostalgic. The two-part work "SIBLINGS" and "SIBLINGS2" are released simultaneously on analog LP. Alex Sommers is known for his collaborations with Sigur Rós and Yoncey. A versatile musician, composer, producer, and visual artist, he will release two analog LPs under his own solo name at the same time. SIBLINGS" and its sibling "SIBLINGS2". The thirteen tracks on each LP reflect his core musical interests, including film music, ambient, post-classical, post-rock, and electronica. The 13 tracks on each of the two albums reflect elements of film music, ambient, post-classical, post-rock, and electronica that are at the core of his musical interests, while beautifully contrasting opposing elements such as grandeur and intimacy, bold strokes and delicate detail, maximalism and minimalism, creating austere soundscapes with an avant-garde yet somehow nostalgic feel.Alex has worked with Sigur Rós as a co-producer and artwork designer, released collaborative albums with Yonsey, and created soundtracks for movies such as "Honey Boy". SIBLINGS" and "SIBLINGS2" are his first "solo studio albums" released under his own solo name. A new side of him is now revealed.
