Designed for cutting patterns and general office use, the extra long blade length is fabulous for a longer, straight cut. We find they're also lighter than a dressmaking scissor but still sharp enough to cut cleanly through textiles, making them a good option for those who don't do much sewing, but want to use a good pair of scissors when they do.

To give them a long life of faithful service, keep these scissors clean and don't use them for uses such as cooking or gardening. Blades can be occasionally oiled with a soft cloth and fine machine oil.
