TRANSPORTATION CORPS REGIMENTAL CREST
The Transportation Regimental Corps Crest is one of the Army's 14 Regimental Corps Crest insignias. The Regimental Corps Crest signifies each service member's unique regiment and is worn over the right breast pocket on the Class A uniform. The branch insignia consists of the wheel symbolizing rail transportation, the wing symbolizing air transportation, a mariner's helm for water transportation, and a U.S. highway marker shield for land transportation. The traditional insignia of the branch superimposed on the spearhead denotes the spirit of the motto. Brick red and golden yellow are the colors associated with the Transportation Corps. The insignia was approved for wear on March 7, 1986.
