Pycnanthemum muticum, or clustered mountain mint, is an herbaceous perennial that grows 2–3 feet tall and spreads by rhizomes. It is known for its aromatic, mint-scented foliage and its clusters of white to pinkish-lavender flowers, which are surrounded by distinctive, silvery-white bracts that give it a frosted appearance. The plant is a highly attractive nectar source for a wide variety of pollinators, is resistant to deer, and tolerates a range of conditions from full sun to part shade and moist to well-drained soils
