The German army supplied these shirts to soldiers from 1965 to 1990, which shows how reliable and durable they are. They're made from a quality moleskin material that is highly abrasion resistant and as a ''field jacket'', these are great worn as a heavy shirt or mid season outer layer. This design and material were an easy choice for the Germans airforce and navy uniforms too. The moleskin uniform was eventually replaced by the now iconic Flecktarn camouflage.
