Vintage 1950s Bes-Ben Hat / Designer 50s Fuschia Pink Raspberry Red Wool Felt Hat with Gold Feather Trim

Gorgeous mid-century piece by the great Mad Hatter of millinery, this Bes-Ben is a round shaped and soft bodied, cut out of a fuschia, shaggy wool felt. The crown is trimmed in gold feathers swathed with an overlay of darker, metallic netting and beads.
The outer edge has a wire underneath, allowing you to flip it up or down as you wish, in different spots.

Interior has a petersham, as well as he iconic "Bes-Ben Made in Chicago " label . The inside of the crown is also stamped "Empress. Body Made in Western Germany"
