The Insulated Short Cruiser is made with Filsons signature Shelter Cloth waxed cotton. At 11-oz. per square yard, this fabric is midweight for Filson, yet still heavier-duty than its imitators. Strong and flexible, Shelter Cloth comes from England's famed British Millerain, waxed-cotton pioneers since 1880. The PrimaLoft insulation is lightweight and will continue to trap heat even if it gets wet. The collar and cuffs are lined with 100% cotton corduroy for comfort against the skin. Virtually unbreakable metal-shank buttons secure the front closure and waist-adjustment tabs. Large hand pockets plus flapped and slotted chest pockets.

FILSONS ROBUSTESTES WAXED CANVAS

Entstanden aus der Notwendigkeit, sich im regennassen pazifischen Nordwesten vor Dornen und Dornensträuchern zu schützen, verlassen sich Holzfäller, Förster, Sportler und Handwerker auf das 15-oz. ölbehandelte Tin Cloth von Filson. Zur Herstellung des berühmten Gewebes wird ein dicht gewebter Canvas-Entenstoff unter Hitze und hohem Druck mit einer Mischung aus verflüssigtem Paraffin und Öl getränkt, wodurch das Wachs in den Kern der natürlichen Baumwollfasern gepresst wird. Filsons strapazierfähigstes gewachstes Baumwollgewebe, das Tin Cloth mit Ölfinish, ist reißfest, durchstichsicher, wasser- und windbeständig und damit äußerst zuverlässig.

Care

Do not wash or dry clean -- brush or wipe clean with a damp rag. Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance. To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.
