Marcus Miller, one of the greatest bassists of all time, whose tapping, finger picking, and slapping techniques have had a profound influence on bassists around the world, won the 2013 Edison Award in the Jazz category at the historic Edison Awards Jazz/World Awards, and in recognition of that, a rare archival recording of his performance with the Metropole Orchestra in the Netherlands is now available. In recognition of this award, a rare album of archival recordings from his performance with the Metropole Orchestra in Holland is finally available! The album features the performance on November 23, 2013 at the Fritz Philips Music Center in Eindhoven, Holland, and the setlist is mainly songs from the album "Renaissance" released in 2012. Tutu' and 'Blast' from the 2007 album 'Free'.
