Using time tested methods to create the world's finest tequila at their distillery in Hacienda Patrón. Only high-quality raw ingredients are used to develop deep, complex flavours with zero additives. The Weber Blue Agave used to craft Patrón tequila ripens slowly, around every eight years. Using a sharp tool called a coa, skilled jimadors strip away the leaves to reveal the heart of the plant called the piña.
After being hand processed and chopped the piñas are baked in small brick ovens and then crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone wheel. The resulting mixture is fermented for three days and distilled. Tasting Notes: Serve between 16°C - 18°C. Soft on the nose with light touches of spice and citrus. Light flavours of muscovado sugar on the tongue with spicy notes and hint of pepper and agave on the finish.
