Adam Fischer and the Dusseldorf Symphony Orchestra! Mahler's "Ode to the Earth"! Adam Fischer, the older brother of the Fischer brothers, Hungary's most talented conducting family, and the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been Chief Conductor since the 2015/2016 season. The Mahler Symphony Cycle has steadily built up a reputation, as it has been frequently selected as "Editor's Choice" by Gramophone magazine and won the splendid "Orchestra Prize" at the 2019 BBC Music Magazine Awards for "Symphony No. 1". Adam Fischer's painstakingly crafted, skillful, and transparent sound is joined by Anna Larsson, who also worked with Adam Fischer on "Symphony No. 3" and has participated in recordings by Tilson Thomas and Rattle, and sang "Earth Song" at the 2019 BBC Proms (BBC Symphony Orchestra under Gardner).
