The Akila LT is 100% dedicated to steep skiing and lightweight mountaineering.

The Akila LT was designed out of passion for steep skiing amongst our community. What started as a homegrown experiment for those of us in the office and our ambassadors, we are proud to present to the market as the tool for the committed steep skier. 

Designed as a lightweight tool for ski mountaineering, the Akila LT is 43 cm long, but maintains the same technical pick and hammer as the original Akila. The shaft is cut diagonally at the base, allowing it to double as a spike when caning with the piolet. The integrated Tech Pommel is a compact trigger rest that can be tucked out of the way on less technical sections and deployed for a confident grip in steep neve and ice. 

The Akila LT hammer can also function as a third tool in the summer months.
