The Arcteryx Vertex Alpine GTX are a waterproof, lightweight and durable hybrid of a trail running shoe and a stiffer scrambling or approach shoe. A full GORE-TEX liner seals out wet and snow, A Cordura recycled PES upper protects the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane from damage. The Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole with aggressive 4mm lugs designed specifically to provide grip while edging and offer on-trail traction with climbing performance.

The knit collar seals out debris and integrates with the tongue to create a secure, comfortable sock-like fit. A TPU shank provides underfoot protection and stiffness for improved stability, the 8mm drop with a total 18mm stack height to maximise comfort on runs that last all day.
