The RS5 Touring Edition Exhaust System

The most civilized member of the family is the AWE Tuning RS5 Touring Edition Exhaust. If you occasionally have a client in the car or you are concerned about waking the neighbors, you should consider the Touring Edition. This system brings out the power and tone of the V8 in an extremely sophisticated manner. Still head turning, our Touring Edition system features resonated downpipes to produce a more mellow tone at part throttle, yet the aggressive sound you crave during wide open throttle.

The RS5 Track Edition Exhaust System

The RS5 Track Edition Exhaust was designed for those seeking additional growl. The Track Edition brings out an aggressive, raw V8 rumble. Still suitable for a daily driver, this "noticeable" system lets them know you're coming. The RS5 Track Edition system features specially designed Helmholtz Resonators and reuses the stock downpipes to give the RS5 a true V8 sound.

The RS5 Track Extreme Exhaust System

The people have spoken. The RS5 Track Extreme Exhaust is the result of a public outcry for even more. The Track Extreme cranks the Track Edition up to eleven by adding AWE Tuning RS5 Non-Resonated Downpipes, giving the RS5 a sound that you need to hear to believe. The RS5 Track Extreme system features the same specially-designed Helmholtz Resonators from the rest of our RS5 line.

The RS5 Non-Resonated Downpipes

For RS5 owners seeking an even more aggressive sound in addition to our Track or Touring Edition Exhaust systems, we offer our Non-Resonated Downpipes, available separately. AWE Tuning Non-Resonated Downpipes are constructed from 2.5 T304 Stainless Steel and remove an additional resonator to produce a louder and deeper tone to the exhaust note.

As always, AWE Tuning Non-Resonated Downpipes are only recommended for those who like it loud, and again this product cannot be returned or exchanged based upon sound satisfaction.

The RS5 Resonated Downpipes

The Track Edition + our Resonated Downpipes = our Touring Edition Exhaust. Note that if you already have a Track Edition Exhaust, you can add these downpipes within a year of purchase of the Track Edition Exhaust for the difference between the Touring Edition and Track Edition. AWE Tuning Resonated Downpipes are constructed from 2.5 T304 Stainless Steel and include a resonator to produce a mellow tone at part throttle without also hindering the sound at wide open throttle.

Upgrading to downpipes later

Not sure if you want to do the full package yet? No worries. If you purchase a Track Edition system alone, you have one full year from the date of purchase to buy the complementing Resonated or Non-Resonated Downpipes, for the price difference between the Downpipe-Back system alone and your package price (price at the time of downpipe purchase). This is for original owners only, and is valid through AWE Tuning directly or through any authorized AWE Tuning dealer, so long as proof of the original Downpipe-Back purchase can be provided.
