PharmacyChoice Aciclovir Cold Sore Cream is used to treat cold sores on the lips and face caused by the herpes simplex virus. It helps to speed up healing and relieve symptoms such as tingling, itching, and discomfort. For best results, apply at the first sign of a cold sore.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: Aciclovir 5% w/w (50 mg/g)

Usage / Directions

Adults and children over 12 years: Apply a small amount to the affected area five times a day (approximately every 4 hours while awake) for five days.

Wash hands before and after use.

Start application as soon as the first symptoms appear (e.g., tingling, itching, or burning).

If symptoms persist after 5 days, treatment may continue for up to 10 days.

Do not apply inside the mouth, eyes, or nose.

Warnings

For external use only.

Do not use in or near the eyes or inside the mouth or nose.

Not recommended for use in children under 12 years unless advised by a doctor.
