About This Collection

These pieces are woven by Irma in her Oaxacan studio on a traditional backstrap loom. Each geometric pattern is planned and woven thread by thread - a process that takes hours to days depending on the piece. The patterns reference traditional Oaxacan textile motifs in contemporary colors.
