We must admit, when we first set eyes upon this piece we were a little confused, but 100% enamored!
From what we've been told, this is a one-of-a-kind work of art by a woman who used to decoupage art onto broken pieces of wooden antique furniture.
Though we really have no way to date this treasure, it truly encompasses everything we love.
The piece this unknown artist used is René Magritte's Tentative de l'impossible from 1928. It is a CMYK print, most likely from a book or a magazine. It has been decoupaged and veneered onto a very heavy and solid piece of mahogany.
There's not much more to say other than it is a very usual but very cool piece of art.
