Tasting Notes
Deep garnet with subtle brick tones at the rim, the 2005 opens with evolved aromas of black cherry, dried plum, tobacco, cedar, leather, and baking spice. Layers of cocoa, espresso, and balsamic notes emerge with air, adding depth and complexity. The palate is full-bodied and mature, with softened tannins supporting flavors of dark fruit, dried herbs, earth, and oak spice.
